you are in your journey

Join us and begin walking towards freedom and healing

Every woman in a 423 community group understands the pain and hopelessness of trying and failing to overcome their behaviors on their own, whatever they might be. We are here create safe spaces for women, to introduce them over and over again to the grace and love of God. We are here to walk with you as you step out of shame and into the freedom of being fully known and loved.

In Person Groups

Our in-person groups are designed to walk alongside women as they step out of isolation and shame and into the grace, love, and freedom found in Christ. Week after week, you'll be invited into a confidential space where you can be known, supported, and encouraged by women who are walking a similar journey.

No matter where you are in your story, you don't have to have everything figured out before you come. This is a place to be honest about your struggles, wrestle with questions of identity and faith, and pursue lasting healing together.

Witnessing Community (First Hour)

The first hour is dedicated to honest storytelling and connection. Through storywork practices, we explore the experiences and wounds beneath the surface that often fuel unhealthy patterns, creating space for deeper understanding, compassion, and healing.

Equipping Time (Second Hour)

The second hour focuses on practical tools for growth. Together we work through biblical teaching, curriculum, and evidence-informed practices that help women build healthier patterns and pursue long-term freedom.

You were never meant to walk this journey alone. These groups offer a community of women committed to following Christ together- encouraging one another toward hope, healing, and lasting freedom.

If you're interested in joining an in-person group, complete our Interest Form to view our current available locations.

  • Church-Based Community
Each group is hosted through a local church and led by trained 423 Women leaders from that congregation.

  • Weekly Meetings
Groups meet once a week for approximately two hours in a safe and confidential environment.

What to Expect

Virtual Groups

We know that not everyone has access to a local 423 Women group, and we are currently in the progress of re-structuring our virtual support options.

At this time, we do not have any virtual groups currently open. While we are prayerfully exploring the possibility of launching a new virtual group this fall, we do not yet have a confirmed timeline.

If you're interested in participating in a future virtual group, we invite you to join our waitlist. We'll send you a few recommended resources to encourage you in the meantime, and you'll be among the first to hear when registration becomes available.

DIRECTOR

Jara Douse

A young woman, Jara Douse, 423 Women's Director, with shoulder-length brown hair and earrings, sitting on a brown leather couch, smiling at the camera against a dark gray wall.

As someone who has experienced God’s transforming grace firsthand, I’m passionate about helping women find freedom in Christ. My recovery journey began when Jesus met me exactly where I was, bringing profound transformation to my soul. Through His grace, my heart of stone was softened, and my relationship with Him has only deepened and grown. It’s through this transformation that God has called me to walk alongside other women, offering hope, encouragement, and the truth of His love to those facing similar struggles.

A: 423 Women intentionally keeps our membership rate accessible while maintaining the quality and depth of care provided. We believe healing is both a commitment and an investment in the work God is doing in your life. A:
Group sessions are usually 2 hours once a week. Some groups may also invite you to complete personal reflection work outside of meetings to help you process and grow.
