What does membership in 423 cost?
Membership costs $35.25 per month. This fee supports 423 Communities' operations, including leadership development, church partnership, group management, intakes/onboarding, crisis support, member care, outreach, and more.

What if I can't pay?
Scholarships are available to cover the full monthly cost upon request. You can inquire about this option during your application or by contacting info@423communities.org.

What about existing members?
Existing members will be prompted to set up recurring group fees by January 1, 2025.

Do leaders have to pay?
No, group leaders are exempt from membership fees.

Will my church help support?
Some church partners may cover group fees upon request. You can inquire further by contacting info@423communities.org.

What if I miss a group, is there a refund?
Refunds are not available for missed groups or low attendance. The cost covers your membership in the community, not individual group sessions.

How do I set up a new payment?
You can set up an auto-payment for the recurring membership cost through your Church Center account under the Donations section.

What if my circumstances change and I can no longer afford it?
If your financial situation changes, reach out to info@423communities.org to request financial assistance forms for further support.

Is the fee tax deductible?
No, the fee for group is not Tax-deductible. Any gift above and beyond the group membership fee is a tax-deductible donation. Also, if you are a leader with no fee for group and wish to contribute to the ministry, this fee would be tax-deductible.

Is 423 willing to release annual budget information?
423 will release an annual financial update every year in the last fiscal quarter for the year. This will be sent out through the regular newsletter to our community and requestable atInfo@423communities.org

What is the Fee funding?
All proceeds from membership fees, along with all other donations, go towards funding the ministry of 423 communities across the country, by supporting staff salaries, business overhead expenses, and scholarships funds for hardship requests.

What if I need to cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership at any time by contacting info@423communities.org. However, please note that there are no refunds for the remaining portion of the membership term.

Are there any fees for changing groups?
No, there are no additional fees for changing groups. However, you should notify your current and prospective group leaders before making the change and reach out to Info@423communties.org to make official changes.

Can I pause my membership if I am unable to attend for an extended period?
Yes, we offer a membership pause option for those unable to attend due to health or other significant life circumstances. To request a pause, please contact info@423communities.org

What happens if a group disbands—will I receive a refund?
If a group disbands and there is no suitable replacement group available, you may be eligible for a partial refund of your membership fee. Please contact info@423communities.org for assistance.

Do I have to pay for the entire month if I join mid-month?
Yes, the initial fee is the application fee, which also covers the first month of group.

Does the fee cover participation in workshops and events?
Yes, your membership includes access to workshops and events hosted by 423 Communities. Some larger conferences may have additional fees, but regular group-related events are covered.

How does the ministry use my membership fee to benefit others?
Your membership fee not only supports your participation but also helps fund scholarships for members in financial hardship, training for new group leaders, and the expansion of our ministry to reach more people in need in our mission to equip every community with a safe recovery community across the country.
